In Search of a story

I always wanted to write an novel and was thinking a interesting plot. As I brainstromed different plots with myself, I realised it was not a easy task. The story closely resembled me and the things which has deeply influenced me. I always wondered on how to break my comfort level and create a whole new world. The books I read and the movies I saw revolved around the almost similar storyline with a different author touch to it. The language, flow was different. Ultimately the plot were the same. How do u create a book? the question kept nagging me. I would need a main character who walks through the plot. The plot can be personal or one which creates a social impact. I would need supporting characters and the story flows. This might not be easy as it sounds. Every word the character speaks, every action he does has to be analysed and pre and post action has to be defined. It is like writing a code in literary sense. The thought gave me chills. I searched for some application which wi...

24 - A Review

Cast: Suriya, Samantha, Nithya Menen, Saranya Ponvannan, Ajay, Sathyan, Girish Karnad Direction: Vikram K Kumar Genre: Sci-Fi   Synopsis   A scientist invents a time machine but his evil twin brother is after it and will go to any lengths to get the device in his hands.    Review  The movie was a bit confusing in the few minutes. The director must have tried to maintain a suspense element but was not successful. The story gets back on track with introduction of Mani (Suriya). The acting of Saranya Ponvannan is worth mentioning. The actors have done justice to the movie. The plot is almost clear expect for few places like the role of the eagle. The cinematography is very good and the scenes move at its own phase.   Suriya has played well in all three characters. The equipment and laboratory are awesome and special kudos to the art director. Overall it is a good movie. Can be seen once

Biryani Combo from New Classic Kitchen

A lazy sunday with loads of personal time and hungry pangs, I got a craving for Biryani. Too lazy to venture in the sun, We ordered a Biryani Combo from New Classic Kitchen. The order was delivered in less than 30 minutes. The food was hot which is a great plus for 4 o clock in the evening. The Biryani was in a bright shade of orange and tempting.  The combo consisted of brinjal curry, onion raitha , chicken 65 and coke. The rice was a bit bland and the flavours did not bind properly. The chicken in the rice was cooked to perfection. It had the right amount of flavour, was soft and fresh. The brinjal curry and rice was delicious. It gave the right flavour without overpowering each other. The raitha was not sour and the onion tasted good. The chicken 65 was the best part of the meal. It had 3 pieces and was fleshy enough. Overall it was a good combo with left me craving for more. I happily sipped my coke to complete the meal. Priced at Rs.160 , it was definetely worth it

How it will go

I dont want to think of it I dont want to know if it right or wrong I know it is Logically wrong But it is emotionally right I dont want to argue with myself I might waste a lot of enegry And regret not making the decision The next time I fall It might be wrong But it will not make an impact I am exhausted And my hopes are dry It might be a safer option For me and all The world might call me a coward But It did not stand by me My world is shrinking by the day And I have  nothing more to hold me I am curious though How it will go

Search of peace

I looked for answers around me I longed for a change I fought the best I can But this battle could not me won However Hard I try My heart is broken And scars have hid it The spaces are filled Leaving no space for recovery I did try But I am too exhausted to move I have decided to give up To move on In search of peace

Equality begins at home

What does gender equality actually mean? I have always wondered what it means. Is it just sharing the household activities? Is it sharing the family burden? Is it something more than it? I have seen people fighting over small things. And is it a way to avoid the big picture. Household activities are named to be as a women’s job and Earning is named as men’s job. This went on and on for centuries. The problem arose when women started entering the job market and men refused to accept the household responsibilities.   The fight is no longer about the work we share. It is about respect and acceptance. The paradigm shift happened because of Household activities were considered lesser than office jobs. We always treat women as weaker sex because of scientific reasons. The society forgot science and replaced it with social status. Women are not respected and that is the core issue. “ I am joining the Ariel #ShareTheLoad campaign at BlogAdda and blogging about the prejudice rel...
