The role of women in the society has always been fluctuating. Women has played different roles in a man's life and has worked hard to be in par with men. The society has seen and protrayed women as the weaker sex. The meaning of weaker sex is a little different though. It does not mean women are meant to be protected and cherished. It means women are a par lesser than men and are meant to be treated as subordinates. Women, all over the world have accepted their cultural responsibilities and have yet fought to break the mold. Tamil Nadu has always set the cultural standard for the world. India as whole is looked upon with reverence when it comes to heritage and family value. Little did it do to uplift the status of the women in the society. Women have come a long way. Education and Digital world has changed the roles and rules.  The first I saw the news was in Twitter. The Brutal murder of Swathi, a 25 yr old IT Professional. Every medium spoke in volumes about the incident. Safety of Women was discussed by people of various professionals. Every small town parents were haunted by nightmares. Parents thought hundred times before sending their daughters outside. The worse part was the murderer is yet to found or identified. Where is humanity when we actually need it? People watched, felt sorry, ridiculed, yet no one came forward to help nor even catch the murderer. The horrifying part is the reasons debated to be said cause of the incident With the mystery of the incident, still floating around. People and Media are coming up with their own versions of the story. It has become the general perception of bringing in the love element if anything happens between a woman and man. I was always under impression that Road Accidents were caused by negligence and rash driving. I have heard and heard of people who cry over accidents being fate of nature. However accident are caused mostly due to the human carelessness. However this news made me rethink. It is stated that May and March are the most cruel months when it comes to road accidents. They have the highest causalities and injuries. This scenario has been consistent for the past two years and has nearly increased for over 18 percent. Another nerve wrecking statistics states that most accidents happen 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm. This is not a very busy time and high traffic time. I was quite shocked when I read this article. Is accidents really a act of Man or is it  a design of nature? I am really confused. Is accidents nature's way of communicating something? Are we missing out on the bigger picture? Whenever nature reacts, it is due to man's act. Floods due to deforestation. Heat waves due to Global warming

I always have an issue with time management. I keep thinking of a thousand things to do and end up doing lesser than hundred. I felt something was wrong with me. Until I realised I was not alone in the boat. I then decided to spend some time to understand how time is spent. The thought process is as this. An average working person wakes up between 6 – 7 and winds up the day 10 – 11. This is approximately waking 16 hours. I was shocked, If I am productive for 16 hours a day, I should have reached great heights by now. But my life is pretty normal. It has the same amount of running about for nothing and stressing over nothing at all. How many hours do we actually work? What is the measure of productivity? Is it calculated by numbers or self-sufficiency? Being curious person by nature. The question, sub questions kept arising. Everyone spends 2 hours in personal grooming. It is inclusive of both men and women. Sometimes it might a little more. But it is a hypothetical calculation. I
