Is India really Independent?

What is Independence?   Is it the freedom from external forces or is it freedom from inner demons? The demons can exist within the nation and also within us. 70 years of Independence. The nation has grown tremendously in all fields. Yet the common man still struggles for a day’s food. The basic necessities of Life are still a dream for many. Nostalgia

Seven Years Ago With no plans and full of dreams I walked into the city with a heavy baggage I first met you for a job Little did I know my life would change Our relationship was a whirlwind But had a lot of pauses. Today when I look back I smile and gasp At the beautiful moments we shared Our life was not smooth It had thorns and bumps But the journey was memorable Sometimes I feel you left me a part of you Why do I subconsciously measure every person with you Why do I think of you even after so many months together You are a combo of my best friend and worst enemy Combos are my favorite We have spent endless hours and unknown kilometers searching for it You taught me a lot of things You made a better person You bring out the worst out of me Still you are the best thing that ever happened to me We may not be in constant touch But the first person I will ever call is you Whenever something good or bad happens Thank you for being a part of my life

The story starts with Hari and his loving family. Despite an understanding family, Hari finds it difficult to discuss his sexuality with them. He meets Sam in college who is confident on the surface, yet has trouble in understanding his girlfriend. His character depicts most relationship these days. We are so worried with our needs that we totally fail to understand the
