I had a dream
In which I lived
In a world of unreality
Which seemed so real
The grass was greener
And people sweeter
I imagined people liked me for what I am
Without any great expectation
The only expectation was a honest care and a true smile
Where appearance did not matter
And pain was only in the dictionary
But yet another time
The bubble burst
But this time it did not pain
Maybe I am too used to it
Or too numb
In which I lived
In a world of unreality
Which seemed so real
The grass was greener
And people sweeter
I imagined people liked me for what I am
Without any great expectation
The only expectation was a honest care and a true smile
Where appearance did not matter
And pain was only in the dictionary
But yet another time
The bubble burst
But this time it did not pain
Maybe I am too used to it
Or too numb
